Airliner

The airliner is like a smaller smart board it has a pen and a mouse, Mrs. Perrey uses it so she does not have to be at the front the whole time, so she uses it at her desk or when she wants to sit down. I think it is really cool that you don't have to be at the front the whole time and you can move around with it.

smart board

I find it easier to learn by the smart board instead of the teacher just telling you! It is way better to use because it catches your eye, so you don't get distracted by anything else. I think every school should at least have one, because it would maybe help them listen more to the teacher. The testing on the smart board is way better than using paper and pencil, the things we use to do the test with were like little remotes it was cool. The smart board is easy to use and is interactive.

My Favorite Day!

My favorite day was the banquet of the Nationals in Regina of 2009. There was an award ceremony and a buffet. The staff at the Travelodge cooked it. There were awards for most of the players and coaches and even the people who helped. We had a hypnotist, and it was so cool. He hypnotized two people I know, and one of them grabbed the hypnotist’s butt. It was really funny. Just before that, my doubles partner and I got a national medal for second place. There were eight provinces and each time a player gets gold or silver or other awards they get points for there province. Gold I think you get 7 points and silver is 5. Then they count the points and see who had the most. Saskatchewan had the most points! The whole Saskatchewan team got medals because we got the most points. That was my favorite day!

Robbing a bank with a gorilla suit

Robbing a bank in a gorilla suit

First I went to a shop and bought a gorilla suit and I made it smell bad and then 10 minutes later I was at the bank and said get on the floor or I will lift my armpits or fart and you will probably faint and they all listened but one! And I said get on the floor again they did not listen so I went the hard and let one rip! Then I got a better look at him I relies it was my partner and I thought to my self how did I mistake my partner dressed like me? Then ran to the vault rip it open with my huge monster muscles and pick up my partner and ran to our secret place ( it was actually his mom’s house) And we were rich I tell you rich!

What is a watershed?
Hi, my name is Jacob Banin and I’m going to tell you what a watershed is. A watershed is an area of land that collects water or snow. It then drains the water or seeps it into a marsh, stream, lake, river or groundwater. A watershed is a basin- it is like a landform that has high points and ridgelines that goes into a lower into the ground and streams or valleys. Just to tell you a basin is circular container when the width is bigger that then depth and it becomes smaller as it gets closer to the bottom. It is usually supposed to hold water or other liquids. We are in a watershed right now because watersheds can be found at, homes, ranches, farms, forests, small towns and big cities. They can be found across the country. Some watersheds come in different shapes and sizes; some can even be a few acres big! Other watersheds are usually part of a larger watershed. We have a watershed in Saskatchewan it is called the Upper Qu’Appelle river watershed. And that is what a watershed is and more.

I’m not done yet, I ‘am going to tell you how I interact with water everyday. I interact with water everyday by washing in it and drinking it. Washing is good for my body and good for my health. If I don’t have enough water in my body that could be bad, it could be bad because I could get dehydrated and die because we all need water to live. I also clean the floors and my clothes with water. I also wash cuts with water so the cut won’t get infected. I have fun with water to; like spraying it with water guns but I usually do that in the summer. We can swim at swimming pools and when it rains or snows I usually get wet. I also even flush the water down toilets, if we couldn’t
that would be bad, it would be bad because it would be stinking in the house or hotels. I almost forgot that I wash my hands with water. It is good to have our body wet because our skin could get dry and itching.

Now here is where my drinking water does come from. Our drinking water can come from two different places, ground water and surface water. First I will tell you about ground water. Ground water is usually stored in an underground bed or layer of earth, gravel, and porous stone that holds water. The soil acts like a cleaner. It filters it as the water seeps towards the aquifers, just to tell you a aquifer is a underground layer of earth. Workers then later take the water out with pumps and wells that get drilled into the ground. The water is then treated and sent to your house. Surface water is found in lakes, river, streams, reservoirs, wells, boreholes, wetlands and ponds. The water sometimes has some salt in it. If it is from the ocean. The water needs to be treated so it is safe to drink. The water gets filtered and disinfected at a water treatment plant. It is then pumped to our homes or other places, like businesses, farms, hotels and our schools. We need to keep our water clean so when we drink it we won’t get sick or even killed, we also have to protect our water because everything needs water like, plants animals human and even insects. And if we have no water all the plants and trees will die and plants and trees gives us oxygen and if they die we could to, so keep the water safe and clean!

Barbara

Barbara
A couple of weeks ago this girl named Barbara came to our school and she needed our help to make a sculpture. We made blow up boxes made of paper. I thought she would make a person out of all the boxes but she made a city out of them I would rate it four out of five the sculpture is at the Mackenzie Art gallery.
